Welcome to the RTC King's Goblet 2025. All the information you need for the tournament is below.
The 2025 tournament takes place at Hampton Court Palace from Thursday 26th June to Sunday 29th June.
Entries are now open, and will close on 20th April.
Format & entry fee
The King's Goblet is a handicap doubles tournament, open to all real tennis players from any club. There are no restrictions on handicaps - in the past we have welcomed players with handicaps ranging from +3 to 103. All we ask is that you have a non-provisional handicap on RTO.
Each pair is guaranteed 5 x 35 minute marked matches in the group stage
At the end of the group stage, all pairs are ranked and the top 8 teams enter a knockout phase
The entry fee is £155 (£130 for under 26 year olds)

Lunches are not included in the ticket but will be available to buy on Friday - Sunday.
Afternoon cake. Very important.
The Walled Garden is open to all throughout the tournament. Players are invited to relax there, or to try their hand at RTC's famous garden games!

Entries are open until 20th April, and successful entrants will be notified by 25th April.
The tournament is usually oversubscribed. We try to be fair in applying a set of criteria to decide who plays - read the Entry Criteria below if you want to know more.
Players must enter as a pair. If you are looking for a partner, you can always ask the RTC Professionals to recommend someone to contact.
